Lead Web/UX/UI Designer

<p>We have a current need for an experienced Web Designer with real project experience, creativity and energy to join our team to contribute a variety of captivating creative new website projects.</p>
Full-time position for a lead designer who will be involved from the discovery phase through to creative approval.
<ul>
<li>You will help gather customer requirements based on stakeholder interviews and research.</li>
<li>You will prepare design briefs, create wireframes and design mock-ups.</li>
<li>Create and craft professional clear and usable web presence for a variety of devices and web applications.</li>
<li>You will guide our development team as to your design vision and interaction.</li>
<li>You are fluent in common web and design software tools including: Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.</li>
<li>2-4 year college diploma or university degree in graphic design/web design; but demonstrated background acceptable.</li>
<li>Expert knowledge & hands on experience in UX best practise, IA design, usability, accessibility, typography, colour theory.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of HTML/CSS is an asset. </li>
<li>Compensation is based on experience. Please provide wage expectations.</li>

Full-Stack Web Developer

Inorbital is currently hiring a keen and talented .NET Full-Stack Web Developer. We have some great new projects lined up and are expanding our team to help craft world-class websites. <br />
As a Full-Stack web developer you will be working alongside the Project Manager, User Experience Designer, and other Developers to ensure all elements of our solutions are to the high standards our clients expect.
<h2>Required Skills:</h2>
<ul>
<li>At least 2 years experience in creating lean and light font-end code. </li>
<li>Familiarity with modern frameworks and JavaScript libraries. </li>
<li>At least 2 years experience in .NET development .NET (C#) Core, MVC, and ASP.NET Web API.</li>
<li>High proficiency with Azure Cloud and MS SQL Server.</li>
<li>Strong debugging skills combined with experience using performance and load testing tools.</li>
<li>1 year experience working with an off-the-shelf .NET CMS ideally Kentico or Umbraco. </li>
<li>Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to explain the technical to non-technical clients</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a small yet dedicated team.</li>
<li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>
</ul>
<h2>Typical Responsibilities:</h2>
<ul>
<li>Role is comprised of approximately 50% Front-end, 25% Back-end and 25% Configuration </li>
<li>Front-end development - taking design files (Adobe XD) and coding lean HTML/CSS/JavaScript into responsive fast loading and accessible templates. </li>
<li>CMS site setup, configuration and extending webparts according to project scope.</li>
<li>Customizing functionality as needed including Forms, Ecommerce and Membership management.</li>
<li>Integration with 3rd party systems including single sign-on, forms, payment gateways, or other services via API.</li>
<li>Setting up MSSQL databases, querying, stored procedures etc.</li>
<li>Azure Cloud configuration and implementation. </li>
<li>Supporting and extending existing website projects. </li>
<li>Always using MSSQL Server and .NET c# and MVC and the latest JavaScript frameworks</li>
<li>Performance optimization, Testing and Accessibility compliance </li>
</ul>

WordPress Developer

<p>We are looking for a talented web developer with a keen eye for design for the position of WordPress Developer. WordPress Developers are responsible for ensuring the alignment of web design and user experience requirements, optimizing web pages for maximum efficiency and maintaining brand consistency across all web pages, among other duties.</p>
<p>WordPress Developers are required to work in teams alongside Back-end Developers, Graphic Designers and User Experience Designers to ensure all elements of web creation are consistent. This requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</p>
<h2>Front End Developer Responsibilities:</h2>
<ul>
<li>Taking Adobe XD files and coding testable, efficient HTML/CSS/JavaScript into responsive templates (we call alpha's)</li>
<li>Ensuring web design is optimized for smartphones.</li>
<li>Building reusable code for future use.</li>
<li>Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.</li>
<li>Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages.</li>
<li>Maintaining brand consistency throughout design.</li>
</ul>
<h2>Front End Developer Requirements:</h2>
<ul>
<li>Degree in Web Development or related field.</li>
<li>Understanding of key design principles.</li>
<li>Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end frameworks ideally Vue.js.</li>
<li>Understanding of server-side CSS and CSS preprocessors</li>
<li>Experience with applications including Adobe XD, JIRA and Versioning software.</li>
<li>Experience with responsive and adaptive design, accessibility, performance optimization and WordPress integration.</li>
<li>Understanding of SEO principles.</li>
<li>Good problem solving skills an interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Excellent verbal communication skills.</li>
<li>Some knowledge of Azure is beneficial. </li>
